Blue Beach Blanket

Although beach weather has certainly passed here in New England, our beach blanket is the perfect item to keep on hand for any outdoor event. Our oversized blanket is great to keep on hand as an impromptu tablecloth for a tailgate party, or to wrap around yourself to keep you warm at local football games.  We hope that Heather and her family will have plenty of opportunities to use their new, colorful, huge, beach blanket.

This month’s random terry cloth fact:  Look closely at a terry-cloth towel, and you will notice a series of loops. These loops increase the total surface area of the towel and increase the ability of the towel to absorb moisture from your body. Cotton is able to absorb seven to eight times its weight in water. Synthetic microfibers, because of their extremely fine threads, are also able to readily absorb water.  By increasing the amount of material in the towel via the weave, the absorbency can vary.
