Congratulations to Gigi H. of Plainville, MA!  

She is this month’s winner of the Facebook Fan-of-the-Month Beach Blanket.

We are right smack in it now! It’s Summertime. That means vacations, reunions, cormpany picnics, outings, family get-aways. Our customized, oversized terry blanket will be very useful to one lucky Facebook fan this month. Our beach blanket is the perfect item to keep on hand for any outdoor event.  We hope that Gigi and her family will have plenty of opportunities to use their new, colorful, huge, beach blanket.

This month’s random terry cloth fact:  Regularly rotating terrycloth products so that they do not see sustained heavy use is a good idea, as is following the care directions on their labels to ensure that the fabric stays in good condition.  One problem with terrycloth is that if the loops become caught in something and tear out, they can tear a whole line of loops with them, causing the fabric to become thin and structurally unstable. The loops are also subject to uneven wear, which can made the fabric stiff or threadbare in some places and perfectly plush in others.
