Congratulations to JoAnn L. of Newport, RI!  

She is this month’s winner of the Facebook Fan-of-the-Month Beach Blanket.

As summer’s beach and pool days transition to weekends at the sports fields and other outdoor activities, we suggest taking along our oversized terry beach blanket as a picnic blanket, a tailgate tablecloth, or a bleacher seat warmer. Our beach blanket is the perfect item to keep on hand for any outdoor event.  We hope that JoAnn and her family will have plenty of opportunities to use their new, colorful, huge, beach blanket.

This month’s random terry cloth fact:  Cotton is a material of choice for terrycloth, since it is highly absorbent and easy to work with. It is also possible to use bamboo or linen, along with artificial fibers which have been designed for absorbency. The level of softness will be determined by the fiber used, and the color can easily be adjusted with dyes.
