This picture was taken and sent to us by a crewmember aboard the 356 foot fish processing boat, Independence. In this photo, our little lobster friend in the foreground (who has become accustomed to being the center of attention) was upstaged by the beauty of Akutan, Alaska, located in the eastern Aleutian Islands.
Congratulations to Maureen, winner of our monthly website Clambake To Travel give-away! You could be next months' winner. See the Win a Clambake link in the right hand column of this page.
Last week we had a ball catering the wedding of Monica and JR, a really fun couple who sure do know how to throw a party. Not only was the bride beautiful, but her cake was, as well. Check it out!
O.K., maybe this should be called BEEF with a few noodles. Our intent was to share a nice Sesame Noodle recipe, but we got such a good deal on London Broil that we got carried away and the noodles were kind of lost in the shuffle.
It's a really fun dish and it serves well with fish, chicken, pork or garden fresh vegetables. It's easy to make and really inexpensive.
Enjoy!
Brian and Mick
