Being a New England caterer is filled with new and exciting experiences but at the end of the day it’s all about hard work, food, and fun.

Our guest blogger, Jamie….

I’ve been called many names over the years, road warrior, grill master, and even lobster boy. Each day brings a different title and new location. Unlike the average cube monkey, a caterer never knows where their office will be when they wake up.

It could be on a beach in Rhode Island, a campground in Connecticut, or a college campus in the middle of Boston. The type of work changes too! I could be steaming lobsters, roasting pigs, or flipping burgers.

My day usually starts at the B&M offices in Pawtucket, RI. Mickey hands me a folder and carefully describes the location and menu for the event. After this meeting I check the truck to make sure I have everything and off I go. It’s always exciting when I hit that open road to begin the day. No matter how difficult the job can be my day is made when someone takes that first bite and tells me how good it tastes.

The satisfaction of preparing a great meal for people is unlike any other feeling. Being a caterer is filled with new and exciting experiences but at the end of the day it’s all about hard work, food, and fun.

B&M Catering’s number one goal, always, is to provide excellent food, friendly, competent staff and smiles all around.
