B&M Catering visits the Endicott Estate in Dedham, MA, a beautiful and unique location for every type of private occasion including holiday parties, reunions, fundraisers, wedding and baby showers, bereavements, Mitzvahs, anniversary parties, retirement and birthday celebrations.
This is really an amazing place to cater any special occasion such as a wedding, anniversary, or retirement. When our B&M Catering truck pulls up to the Endicott Estate in Dedham, it feels like we have entered a fairy-tale world of castles and gardens with flowing willow trees, marble fireplaces, lush carpeting and so much more.
The Endicott Estate is located on 15 acres of rolling lawns surrounded by large and venerable old trees – elms, spruce and willows. The expansive estate boasts 25 rooms, 11 fireplaces, rich paneling and classic oriental carpeting. It has been historically restored to offer its guests an atmosphere of style and elegance. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has set itself in a significant role as a venue for year-round recreation, weddings, corporate and private events, art shows, car shows, and more. Just recently, we catered a corporate outing for National Grid here. Everyone really enjoyed the venue.

The Endicott Estate has an open floor plan that was specifically designed for entertaining. The gorgeous veranda is a perfect addition to add to the ambiance of any special occasion. The Grand Ballroom is framed by columns and duel balustrades which adds a classical touch to special events. The interior spaces are the perfect setting for traditional plated reception for up to 150 guests. For more guests, the exterior grounds are just perfect for a tented event.
The Endicott Estate website tells us about the history of the estate:
“Built in 1904 by Henry Bradford Endicott, founder of the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Corporation, it was the second home to stand on the grounds. The original Endicott homestead burned to the ground after the local volunteer fire department, responding to three separate fires burning simultaneously, reached the Endicott fire last. Henry Endicott took the burning of the homestead as a divine command to rebuild. And rebuild he did, in a truly grand manner.
The Estate remained in the Endicott family until 1967. After the death of Henry’s adopted daughter Katherine, it was willed to the Town of Dedham to be used for “educational, civic and recreational purposes.”

We have been told that since the Estate is owned by the Town of Dedham, their rates are extremely reasonable. We have also been told that when you host an event at the Estate, you actually can have access to the entire mansion. Of course, we are very happy to know that they also offer you the flexibility of selecting the caterer of your choice. We know that is of importance to our clients who strive to create just the right experience for their event.
