sesame noodle with beef

O.K., maybe this should be called BEEF with a few noodles.  Our intent was to share a nice Sesame Noodle recipe, but we got such a good deal on London Broil that we got carried away and the noodles were kind of lost in the shuffle.

It’s a really fun dish and it serves well with fish, chicken, pork or garden fresh vegetables. It’s easy to make and really inexpensive.

      Enjoy!

 Ingredients:

1 lb wheat angel hair pasta/ 1 cup sesame oil/ 1/2 cup soy sauce/ 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar/ 1/4 cup white sugar/ 1 tablespoon hot chili oil/ 1 1/2 teaspoons sesame seeds/ 1 bunch broccoli/ 1 red pepper/ 1 summer squash/ 2-3 scallion stalks/ 1 lb (or more) of london broil.

 Directions:

1. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a boil over high heat.  Once the water is boiling, stir in angel hair, and return to a boil.  Cook uncovered, stirring
occasionally, until pasta is firm.(4-5 min.) Drain and set aside.

2. Grill (or broil) london broil to preferred temp, slice and set aside.

3. Chop broccoli into florets, slice peppers & squash and dice scallions. Saute in 1/4 cup of sesame oil and toss with angel hair.

4. Whisk together the remaining sesame oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, chili oil, and sugar in a large bowl. Toss the pasta and veggies in the dressing then sprinkle with sesame seeds and layer the london broil on top.
