“The fresh lobster made it to Buffalo, NY for St. Mary’s annual picnic with its famous chowder!! (I know, I know… Not New England style but still delicious!) “

We wanted to find out more about the summer tradition that is the St. Mary’s Annual Parish Picnic in Swormville, NY.  We learned that the event features world-famous chicken clam chowder, traditional games of skill and chance, all-day live entertainment stage, pony rides, children’s activities and BBQ chicken dinners served in the air-conditioned Parish Center.

This year, they held a 5K Chowder Chase in the morning, and had entertainment in the beer garden in the evening by The Boys of Summer.
