Catering Your Winter Events with Comfort Food Favorites

While we specialize in outdoor grilling, clambakes and pig roasts, it doesn’t have to be 80 degrees and sunny to have a good time. Here are some tips to make the most of your winter event – from weddings to tailgate parties – including some of our go-to menu options!

Let Us Bring the Food to You

Baby it’s cold outside…so why leave the house? Let us bring the food to you! That’s right; we’ll deliver hot items right to your door within an hour’s drive of our commissary in Pawtucket. Just keep an eye out for our big white truck with the lobster on it!

Aim for Hot & Hearty Foods

While we love a good Raw Bar, you’ll want to fill your winter menu with mostly hot and hearty foods. Some of our favorite comfort foods for cooler months include our  Chicken Marsala, Lasagna, Roast Stuffed Pork, Shepherd’s Pie, and Baked Scrod. And you can’t go wrong with traditional Mac N’ Cheese, which we offer in a number of unique varieties like Buffalo Chicken, Salsa con Queso and a New England favorite: Lobster!

If you want to pair a healthy veggie with your main course, consider Candied Baby Carrots, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon or the Harvest Salad – a fall and winter favorite packed with walnuts, cranberries, crumbled bleu cheese, mixed greens, onions, cucumbers, and peppers with an apple cider vinaigrette. Browse all of our a la carte menu items here to find something that catches your eye!

Get Your Soup On!

Whether you’re hosting a wedding, office luncheon or football tailgate, soup can be a wonderful option to incorporate into your menu during the bitter New England winters!

Guinness Beef Stew, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and Roasted Corn & Butternut Squash Bisque all make for cozy and delicious winter menu add-ons! Oyster crackers, disposable bowls and spoons are included with the soup, so you don’t have to worry about it!

Go Family Style

Keep it simple by choosing from one of our fixed menu options, like our Old Fashioned Family Dinner Buffets! The Roast Dinner – with Roasted Turkey or Pork, Whipped Potatoes, Stuffing, Gravy, Cranberry Sauce, Butternut Squash, and Rolls & Butter. It is a wintertime crowd-pleaser.

Want something with an Italian flair? You’ll love our Little Italy menu. Which includes Ziti, Italian Meatballs, Sweet Italian Sausage, Chicken or Eggplant Parmesan, Fresh Garden Salad, and Italian Bread & Butter. Mangia!

Don’t Forget Dessert

Surprise your guests with a sweet treat after the main course! Pass on pudding or watermelon, and opt for a classic New England favorite: Apple Crisp! Pair with Hot Spiced Cider or Hot Coffee for the ultimate post-dinner treat.

Create a Warm Ambiance

Last but not least, you’ll want to create a warm and welcoming environment for your guests! If it’s an outdoor tailgate party, this may mean providing hand-warmers to keep your guests nice and toasty.

For winter weddings, consider brightening up the space with candles (even if you have to use electric ones), seasonal flowers and a hot signature cocktail (like Spiked Cider or Hot Toddies). Looking for the perfect venue to host your event? Here are some of our favorites
