Hi Stephanie & Team,

I thought I’d send this photo of my Mom, Sharon, with The Fresh Lobster, who they named Lenny.

The first picture is at Cardiff Castle, Wales.

This trip was her retirement gift from her sister and they brought Lenny everywhere!

They visited England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland.

After hanging around at Waterford Crystal, Lenny took some time to journal.

They had a fabulous time and the rest of their tour group got a kick out of Lenny the Lobster!

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as my Mom and Aunt enjoyed taking them.

B&M Catering's mascot "The Fresh Lobster" has been all over the world with our friends. View his photo album.

If you are planning a trip, let us know.  We would love to send The Fresh Lobster along to accompany you. It could be kind of fun, and we'd love more pictures !!  Drop us an Email and let us know where to send your Fresh Lobster friend.  If your picture is chosen as the photo of the month, we will send you a Fresh Lobster T- Shirt.

4th of July in Bristol, RI

bristol rhode island clambake catering 4th of JulyBristol, RI does 4th of July celebrations like few other towns in New England!

From Wikipedia: Bristol Fourth of July Parade founded in 1785, is a nationally known Fourth of July parade in Bristol, Rhode Island. The parade is part of the oldest Fourth of July celebration in the United States of America.

The festivities officially start on June 14, Flag Day, beginning a period of outdoor concerts, soap-box races and a firefighters' muster at Independence Park. The celebration climaxes on July 4 with the oldest annual parade in the United States, "The Military, Civic and Firemen's Parade", an event that draws over 200,000 people from Rhode Island and around the world. These elaborate celebrations give Bristol its nickname, "America's most patriotic town". In 1785 the Bristol Fourth of July Celebration (beginning as the Patriotic Exercises) was founded and the Fourth of July has been celebrated every year in Bristol since that date, although the parade itself was canceled several times.

We were honored to cater an Independence Day New England Clambake for Susan, her friends and family, right on the Hope Street parade route! Of course, we had to arrive at 7:15 in the morning in order to avoid the parade traffic and the road closing, but it was completely worth it!

She is this month's winner of the drawing for a Clambake-to-Travel for two.

clambake deliveryLast month, Liz filled out our "Win-A-Clambake" form. This month, we were thrilled to contact Liz to let her know that her name was chosen to win our Clambake to Travel. When she visits our kitchen in Pawtucket, Liz can expect to bring home a traditional New England Clambake in its own reusable pot to share with friends and family.

We know Liz will be pleased to see how easy it is to prepare our clambakes to travel!

Seriously, all you have to do is add water to the reusable pot and then place it on your stove top. The pot already contains lobster, steamers, mussels, chourico, corn on the cob, red bliss potatoes & onions.

In less than one hour, you and your guests can enjoy their own Traditional Old-Fashioned Clambake.

You could become next month's winner.  Simply visit the "Win a Clambake" page to register.
