The B&M team has been deeply touched by a local tragedy.

Olga Morales, a B&M crew member, has helped us out on many occasions this past summer. Always ready to work - always a smile on her face.

Last Monday, there was a terrible fire at Olga's home in Middletown, RI.

Olga's 7-year-old brother, Ramon, died from injuries sustained during the fire

Everything the family owns was destroyed and the family lacks adequate resources to cope with a disaster of this magnitude.

Fabulous Clambake Wedding

Elizabeth and Erick's outdoor wedding was held at the beautiful Walker Island Campground in Chester, MA. Over 140 guests enjoyed appetizers of clam chowder shooters and tomato mozzarella skewers.

The main meal included lobster for everyone along with BBQ steak tips, mushroom Napoleons, steamed red bliss potatoes with onions, corn on the cob, steamed clams - and, of course, our ever-popular corn bread.

We were so happy to have the opportunity to work with Jackie Martucci, event planner, to contribute to this very special day at a really fun venue.

It's no secret, we are absolutely thrilled to open our mail, email, and online listings to read how happy folks have been with the food and the service they experienced from the B&M kitchens and staff. We are incredibly proud of our hardworking team members.

Have you had a great experience with our services?  We invite you to share your thoughts on the platform of your choice:

We were thrilled to get this message on our Facebook Page:

rhode island phototgraphy book

So, of course, we had to head out to buy ourselves a copy of 101 Things to Do In Rhode Island!

We found ourselves on page 28 of the book and listed as No. 9 on the list.

No 9. Dig into a beloved Rhode Island tradition, a classic old-fashioned New England clambake.

rhode island clambake

"New England is known for a lot of things, but some of the most endearing to the locals here are summertime clambakes. Prepare your feast in an open beach pit (where permitted) or steam your meal in a giant stainless-steel pot.  Make sure to have plenty of lobster, mussels, steamers, quahogs, red bliss potatoes, corn-on-the-cob, and fresh seaweed to help with the steaming.

You can do it all yourself, or call B&M Catering and they'll set it up for you!"

We were just talking about all of the beautiful venues we've had the pleasure of catering this past summer. We've catered in backyards, beaches, parking lots, barns, museums, even in warehouses.

This week we will be heading to Solitude Springs in Ashaway, RI to cater a wedding with approximately 200 guests.

Solitude Springs is also known as Miner Family Farm. Their website tells us that "Tomaquag Brook runs through the property and underground springs are abundant, with wood and stone bridges crossing different areas throughout the property. There are benches  There are benches for sitting in delightful little nooks created with various plantings that invite one to sit a spell. Towering bamboo, ponds, babbling brooks, an old-fashioned swing and gardens everywhere create a natural atmosphere that embraces solitude, reflection and even play."
