- Be sure to cook your Clambakes To Travel the day they arrive, and please keep them refrigerated until you do.
- Please, do not unpack the food from your clambake. It never quite goes back together the way we packed it, which is essential for proper cooking.
- Since our clambakes are packed quite snugly, do not be concerned if the Steamers do not open fully. By following our directions, you can be sure that they are cooked properly, and ready to eat.
- The broth (liquid at the bottom of the pot) is an integral part of a clambake. It can be used for dipping, or as a base for a terrific clam chowder.
- Melt some butter while your clambake is steaming. (Approx. 1 lb. for 8-10 people.)
- Cut off shorts, t-shirts, and Jimmy Buffet recordings have been known to set a mood and help with digestion.
