South County Museum
Quaint, outdoor wedding venue
If you are looking for a quaint, outdoor wedding venue, you may want to consider the South County Museum in Narragansett, RI.
The Museum is on a seven-acre campus on the 174-acre Canonchet Farm Park, two miles off US Route 1 in Narragansett. A great feature is that the venue is only a five-minute walk from Narragansett Town Beach! (Think – photo ops).
The event planning folks over at the South County Museum tell us that they host weddings from May through October. There are a couple of locations on the premises on which you can hold a wedding ceremony. Weddings of 50 people or less might take place in their Metz building. Ceremonies with more than 50 people would be held outdoors. If the wedding is to be held outdoors, you have the option of holding the ceremony either on the lawn or in the ivy-covered stable ruins.

The Museum offers the following amenities:
- Handicap Accessible
- Indoor
- Outdoor – Not Covered
- Reception Area
- Restrooms
- Convenient Parking
You may want to make note, however, that the buildings do not offer heat or air conditioning.

B&M Catering is honored to offer full-service catering options for events held at the Museum, located at 115 Strathmore Street in Narragansett, RI.
