This edition spotlights a truly inspiring event from our 2025 calendar: the fantastic women’s retreat, GLAMP, hosted by the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England (GSSNE) at the scenic Camp Hoffman in West Kingston, Rhode Island.
CATERING A Weekend Retreat with True New England Charm
Every fall, the Girl Scouts of Southeastern New England host GLAMP, a 21+ women’s retreat designed to help attendees unwind, recharge, and reconnect. This year’s retreat took place in early September, transforming the scenic grounds of Camp Hoffman into a vibrant community hub. The event offered space for everyone to take what they needed, whether that was stillness, laughter, or connection.
Throughout the weekend, guests could explore a mix of yoga sessions, creative workshops, and mindfulness activities. Some took part in guided meditations, others crafted keepsakes or simply caught up with new friends. It was a relaxed, enjoyable weekend with something for everyone.
Hearty Dinner Service for a Community Event
When Saturday evening rolled around, the GSSNE folks turned to us, their trusted Rhode Island event caterer, for a delicious meal. We were honored to be part of the evening, preparing a custom Little Italy dinner for about sixty-five guests. Like any good community gathering, we served it up buffet-style—simple, plentiful, and ready for everyone to dig in.

Hearty Italian meatballs, rich in flavor and slow-cooked to perfection.
