At B&M Catering, we believe that great food brings people together, and nothing is more important than the health and happiness of our community and the families within it. That's why we are incredibly proud to announce our sponsorship of Children's Friend, a remarkable organization dedicated to improving the well-being of Rhode Island's most vulnerable children.
For nearly 40 years, our company has been built on the foundation of family. As a business founded by brothers Brian and Mickey Doherty, we understand the importance of nurturing the next generation. Our work has long extended beyond clambakes and barbecues to providing nutritious meals for schools, Head Start programs, and childcare centers throughout Southern New England.
We have seen firsthand how a healthy meal can make a difference in a child's day, and we take that responsibility to heart.
Our partnership with Children's Friend is a natural extension of these values. Their mission to provide comprehensive services—from early childhood education to developmental support and, critically, healthy meals—aligns perfectly with our own. Children's Friend serves over 20,000 children and families, and their commitment to providing 240,000+ healthy meals in their classrooms echoes our own dedication to ensuring children have access to the nutrition they need to thrive.
We appreciate that Children's Friend takes a leadership role in educating policymakers and the public about the needs of children and their families in Rhode Island.
